ABOUT ME

Best-selling author, Mike Tonello, bestowed the moniker, Sarah, upon the President of Createurs de Luxe.  Having revealed to the world that Sarah was the largest buyer of his Hermes acquisitions in his tome, "Bringing Home the Birkin."  Here's the story of Sarah's ascension and ongoing adventures...

Joy perfumed white leather gloves, a dazzling hand stitched couture gown wafting across the room… the earliest memories of a girl whose childhood Passport read like a  Where-to-Travel list from Abercrombie & Kent.  From Paris to Crete, and from London to Madrid, Milan, New York, and Paris, she evolved her international flair for fashion and pursuit superior craftsmanship.

On the high fashion runways of Milan, Paris, and San Francisco, she emerged a young woman with a magnificent personal style.  She later earned her Bachelor of Arts in Design degree which honed her focus, vision and standards of excellence.  Her travels, education and personal lifestyle have all informed and defined her distinguished company, Createurs de Luxe.

With great pride, we celebrate 10 years of unparalleled service as purveyors of rare, exotic and highly coveted Hermes handbags.  It all began with a visit to the tony Hermes boutique on Chicago’s famed Oak Street.  When inquiring about a Birkin she desired, a surly employee declared “You won’t get a Birkin in this lifetime.”  Many years and countless thousands of magnificent Birkins later… “Createursdeluxe” brandishes her success with grace and only a small degree of irony.  After all, it is the world’s most sought-after handbag and her clients range from celebrities and famed personalities, to power wives and CEO’s, the world of Hermes is rarified and unapologetically rich and luxe lucre.

Sarah’s world is one of graceful living and heartfelt generosity.  Her involvement with the Big Brother Big Sister program as well as the Make-A-Wish Foundation provide her with an opportunity to contribute to the dreams and hopes of children.  As her white-gloved mother left a legacy of glamorous dreams in the wake of her Joy, so Sarah aspires to be an inspiration as a business woman, philanthropist and doyenne of the luxurious Hermes experience.

On the Hermes aesthetic, "Sarah" agrees with fashion legend, Coco Chanel, “I love luxury.  And luxury lies not in richness and ornateness but in the absence of vulgarity.  Vulgarity is the ugliest word in our language.  I stay in the game to fight it.”
